| In
2001, Shade Structures Pacific joined forces with Birdair, becoming
an integral member of the international Taiyo Group. Today,
Shade Structures Birdair has the financial backing and technical
support of the world’s largest and most experienced companies
in the field. |
| With
a uniquely balanced orientation in architecture and engineering,
the company delivers the total solution in tensile membrane projects
– from architectural design and engineering, to fabrication
and construction in Teflon-coated woven fibreglass, PVC-coated polyester
or architectural mesh. |
| Shade
Structures Birdair offers clients a distinct advantage, and has
the ability to perform all aspects of a project, including architectural
design, steel fabrication, the subtle detailing of connections,
and the selection and manufacture of the right fabric. The
company collaborates with architects and engineers, owners and operators,
to deliver highly efficient and effective tensile membrane solutions.
Shade Structures Birdair designs and manufactures tensile
membrane projects for applications ranging from amphitheatres and
sports stadiums to resorts and shopping centres. Several of
these projects are illustrated in this brochure. The company
also provides a range of modular and pre-assembled tensile products
for smaller applications. |
| For
more than 20 years, Shade Structures has remained at the forefront
of a highly specialised, rapidly evolving industry. The company
has completed major projects in some 30 countries throughout the
Asia-Pacific Region, the Middle East, Europe, and America. |
